Bachelor Parties

I'm getting married. I'm 28... soon to be 29... not that it matters. I find that age just sort of blurs after a while. I may as well say I'm 30 as 25... Though there is a definite difference between 30 and 20, I don't feel that there is much difference after you get to the point at which I find myself.
So as I was saying... Married. Or at least getting there. So I'm faced with the inevitable bachelor party and I've had to give it a lot of thought. What do I really want for my party? I'm a movie fanatic, so I've obviously seen "The Hangover" and I know that I don't have enough money to do anything remotely like that. Travel is out of the question.
I also know that I don't want to go too crazy. I'm feeling like I'm past the age where strip clubs are appealing and I'm not sure that I want to be so drunk that I wake up feeling like I've swallowed a trash can.
So what does that leave for me as a bachelor, looking for a party?

Bachelor parties are supposed to involve friends. You can have a huge crowd, or a small group of close friends. So what do I want? And that is where I stalled for a long time.

Here is what I've decided: I am having a small group of friends... Though I am inviting anyone I see. So that shows that I am still slightly undecided about a small or large group. But I am having my party on a Wednesday, so that limits the number of people who can come.
We are going to go camping, which should allow us to have a good time, but not get into a lot of trouble and spend money at casinos, etc. There will be no flash-forward to us waking up with a tiger in the bathroom of our Las Vegas villa.
We will be swimming and that should be a lot of fun. There will also be a round of golf, which seems to be a bachelor party staple.
